She was also the younger twin sister of Tom Riddle Jr. by half-an-hour (later Lord Voldemort). Elizabeth grew up in the Muggle-run Wool's Orphanage after her father abandoned his new family on the streets of London when the potion's influence was lifted.
Her mother died moments after giving birth to her. Not being able to name her, the orphanage did it for her. Elizabeth started her education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1938 and was Sorted into Ravenclaw House, which caused a rift between her and her brother. At the end of her 6th year, Elizabeth dropped out of Hogwarts to become a nurse in 1944.
